How to import config file into Grandstream GXW410X
To upload configuration, you will need to convert the .txt configuration file to a format that GXW410X recognized by using the tool below.
http://malab.grandstream.com/Grandstream_Configuration_Generator_1.6.3.4.zip
or
https://www.dropbox.com/s/4rvcc8hcw0iltlg/Grandstream_Configuration_Generator_1.6.3.4.zip?dl=0
Note that I will be using HFS as HTTP Server here in my example.
Steps:
1. Key in the MAC address under Listing (without comma)
2. Browser the file ”command_send_4001′ in Configuration Template.
3. Select your Destination path.
Here is an example of how it will look like with Step 1-3 completed –
4. Click on ‘Go’ and a file with the mac address will be generated. (This will be the config file to be uploaded to GXW410X)
5. Upload it to your HTTP/ HTTPS server (I will be using HFS server here). Open HFS and place the file on the left side (Virtual File System)
6. Key in the URL shown in HFS (It will be an IP address:port number – e.g. 192.168.0.125:8080 under Config Server Path only. Ensure that ‘Upgrade Via’ is set to HTTP and ‘Always Check for New Firmware’ is enabled.
7. Reboot GXW410X. The config file should be downloaded to the GXW. You should be able to see that file downloading process on HFS.
