With Grandstream UCM63XX released, I’m sure some of you might want to migrate from your old UCM62XX over to UCM63XX.<\/p>\n

You can do it easily from https:\/\/www.gdms.cloud\/login<\/u><\/a>.<\/u><\/p>\n

Steps on how to perform migration from UCM62XX to UCM63XX – <\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Create a backup from UCM62XX by going to Maintenance > Backup > Create a New Backup.<\/p>\n

2. Here is an example of creating a config backup from UCM6202 –<\/p>\n

3. Once it is done, it will be shown under the List of Previous Configuration Backups. Click on the small icon to download the file.<\/p>\n

4. Create an account in GDMS using the URL above and log in.<\/p>\n

5. Click on “Convert Config File” under UCMRC > Backup page below:<\/p>\n

6. Load the previously downloaded backup file and select the model to which you are migrating with this config.<\/p>\n

7. Converting might take a while, depending on the size of your backup file. Please be patient here.<\/p>\n

8. You will see the following screen when the conversion is completed.<\/p>\n

9. Upon clicking OK, you will see that the converted file will be listed under UCM Backup here.<\/p>\n

10. Log in to UCM63XX and go to Maintenance > Backup. You will also be able to see the converted config under Backups in GDMS Cloud Storage. You may then restore this converted backup file directly to this UCM63XX.<\/p>\n
